A founder alone does the job of eight people: product, design, code, numbers, content, distribution, support, bookkeeping. Chico is my answer to that: the agent for solo entrepreneurs. It is a software agent built on large language models, running on a server I control, that takes on the work I cannot staff.
What it does
- Researches markets, competitors and references, and writes the findings up.
- Drafts copy, scripts, pages and posts in each project's own voice.
- Writes and reviews code, opens pull requests, and runs the checks before anything ships.
- Plans, publishes and measures my YouTube channels: titles, thumbnails, upload schedule, retention and growth.
- Keeps the memory of what worked, so the next project starts ahead of the last one.
Decisions stay with me. Chico prepares, proposes and executes inside limits I set; anything that reaches the public, costs money or cannot be undone waits for my explicit approval.
What it connects to
Chico works on accounts that belong to me. The one that matters for this page is Google: Chico signs in to YouTube through Google OAuth to manage my channels, upload videos and read their analytics. On Google's sign-in screen, the application asking for that access is named Chico. It never signs in to anyone else's Google account.
How that data is handled, who processes it and how to revoke it is written in the privacy policy. The terms for this site are in the terms of use.
Who it is for
Today, me. Chico is not a product you can sign up for, and the site itself keeps nothing about you; what the network layer records is in the privacy policy. If that changes, this page and the privacy policy change first.
